HOW TO MAKE WINDOWS XP VIRTUAL DISK IMAGE (VDI)

Requirement:

1. Oracle Virtual Box software
2. Windows XP installer ISO Image (follow this tutorial to create an ISO)

Steps:

1. Start Oracle Virtual Box Software
   
2. Click New.
   
3. Click Next. Enter details as follows.
   
4. Enter memory size.
   
5. Create New Virtual Machine.
   
6. Create New Virtual Disk
   
7. Set Storage Details Type.
   
8. Set Storage Location and Size. 20GB maximum size is sufficient to run most application packages.
   
9. Check Summary.
   
10. Virtual Disk created.
    
11. From main menu, go to Settings.
    
12. Go to Settings menu, add CD Source Image file to the Virtual Machine.
    
13. Run the Virtual Machine.
